Refund policy
Cancellation / Restocking fee
Due to non-refundable charges applied to transactions by payment processors any orders cancelled prior to despatch will be charged a restocking fee.
The refund for a cancelled order will be Total Order transaction Value minus a restocking fee of 3% of total order value (including any delivery charges)
Exchanges
If you need to exchange a product for a different item, please send us an email at orders@thechefpadshop.com for a returns code and please let us know what item you would like to swap your item(s) for.
If there is any difference in price an invoice will be raised or a refund issued for the difference.
An exchange will be sent to you standard delivery on receipt of the original item.
Please note for a UK exchange you will not be charged postage for the delivery of the replacement item(s).
International Exchanges will be charged the relevant courier rate for the exchanged items to be sent to your country.
Returns
You can return an item up to 45 days after purchase - return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
If 45 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund but will provide an exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights,
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 45 days after delivery
Shipping Costs for Exchanging / Returning products
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs from the original dispatch are non-refundable. If you choose a refund, only the item price not the original shipping will be refunded.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We recommend you should use a trackable shipping service to return your item. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
PLEASE NOTE: Exchanges for outside UK will be charged shipping costs for the exchange items to be sent to you.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 48 hours.
Please note some payment providers such as PayPal & Amazon may take longer to process refunds back to you. Paypal can take some time to clear but you will see this within paypal account with an estimated date.
Payments refunded via cards are usually with 24 hrs.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
