Designed to work perfectly with Aga range cookers this chef pad has a grey striped cloth top, an inner layer of flexible insulation and a superb towelling back. 

Made in the UK all Betty Twford hob lid covers come with hanging loops top attach to your lid handles. 

Three layers means great insulation properties keeping heat in your cooker not your kitchen and does a brilliant job of protecting your chrome or enamel lid covers. 

The simple grey striped cloth will work in both traditional and contemporary kitchens. 

We love them for their classic good looks!

Care Instructions

  • Very Hot items placed on pads can cause scorching.
  • Always ensure cover does not contact hot plate or become trapped between lid/hotplate.
  • Not suitable for solid fuel cookers.
  • Machine Wash 30 or less.
  • Do Not Tumble
  • Do Not Dry Clean.
  • Wash Dark Colours Separately
  • Dry Flat away from direct heat
  • Cool Iron
  • All natural fibres products will shrink slightly when washed. However, washing our cotton textiles at excessively hot temperatures will cause more shrinkage than usual due to the towelling/fabric differences. 
  • For our Chef pads that have a hanging loop we don't advise leaving your chef pads unattended on hot lids for prolonged periods of time.
